Silent Witness -Serbian Life Through a Child’s Eyes
At the beginning of the summer 2009, Serbian children in Kosovo were given digital cameras and asked to record their daily lives. These gifts to the children didn’t only bring a little joy to their lives, spent for more than a decade behind barbed wires of concentration camps-like Serbian communities, but were also meant to provide this exhibit’s visitors with at least a glimpse into the poverty, anxiety, humiliation and suffering of the Serbs who remained to live in the territory with constant presence of NATO forces and under daily threats of further persecutions by Albanian extremists and islamists.We hope that you will honor the opening ceremony with your presence and grant yourself a chance to learn more about the reality of today’s Kosovo.
